Our printable planner inserts are crafted to be double-sided, with tailored margins to ensure seamless use in your planner. Here's a step-by-step guide to achieving perfect double-sided planner inserts every time.

What You'll Need:

  • Saint Violet printable planner inserts PDF

  • A5 paper (pre-punched if desired)

  • A printer that allows for manual double-sided printing

Step 1: Initial Print Setup

Begin by loading your A5 paper into the printer tray. If you're using pre-punched paper, ensure the holes are on the left side. In most printers, the bottom of the paper (the edge that is fed into the printer first) corresponds with the top of the printed image.

Open the PDF file of your planner inserts and select the 'Print' option.

In the print settings:

  1. Choose the number of copies you require.

  2. Ensure you're only set to print the first page (where the margin and brand mark appear on your right).

  3. Confirm the paper size is set to A5.

Proceed to print the first page.

Step 2: Preparing for Second Side Printing

Once the first page has been printed, take your printed sheet and flip it horizontally, so that you're looking at the blank side.

Then, turn it upside down, ensuring the printed text is now inverted. The holes should now be on the right side if you’re using pre-punched paper.

Step 3: Printing the Second Side

Return to your computer and again open the print dialogue for the planner inserts PDF. This time, you'll need to select the page that has the logo or brand mark on the left side to complement the first page you've already printed.

Ensure you maintain the same settings for the number of copies and paper size. Initiate the second print job.

Final Step: Enjoy Your Inserts

After the second print job is complete, you should have a double-sided planner insert with correct orientation and margins. The brand mark should be mirrored across the insert, providing that professional touch to your DIY project.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Always do a test print to ensure your settings are correct.

  • If your printer supports duplex printing (automatic double-sided printing), you can adjust your settings accordingly to automate this process.

  • Should your print not align correctly, check your printer's manual feed options and alignment settings.

And that's it! With these simple steps, you can transform your Saint Violet planner inserts from digital files to tangible tools for your everyday organization and creativity. Happy planning!
